Corridor Development

– Data collection for environmental assessment and engineering can be combined in a single stream, reducing planning time and allowing planners and engineers to cross-reference data from the same imagery.
– Precise georeferencing and digital elevation modelling, integrated with ground survey data, can be generated from all photographed data, allowing more accurate calculation of slopes, cut-and-fills and other features of highways and other corridors.
– Multi-spectral outputs, combined with the superior precision of digital survey information, make it far easier to plan the avoidance of sensitive areas in the planning stage of new projects; more exact monitoring of environmental effects occurring within, and arising from, a corridor can also be measured.
– The same digital imagery can be used successfully for both public presentations, because it is visually appealing, and internal analysis, because it is technically precise.
